The couple, who have been married for over seven years, have amassed a legion of followers by sharing the quirks of their relationship on TikTok and YouTube.

Elaine filmed herself wearing a green one-shoulder top and ripped jeans as she sat next to Mikey in her car.

She kept her make-up to a minimum and slicked her hair into a bun, while Mikey looked dapper in a black shirt and smart trousers.

“My husband told me I wasn’t dressed appropriately for church,” the text above the TikTok video read.

Elaine said, “I’m going to change this dress into an old dress. A very nice dress, no jeans.”

She looked at Mikey, laughing, as he slowly joined in and her children watched quietly from the back passenger seats.

“So I went back and changed,” the text above the video read.

The video shows Elaine emerging from her house in a pink maxi dress and smiling confidently as she returns to the car.

Mikey said, “Wow, look at that, that’s a dress.”

Elaine replied, “Ta-da, do you like it?”

He replied, “Yes, I do.”

Elaine captioned the post: “I have to agree with him [laughing].”

She added the hashtags #husbandandwife, #marriagegoals and #churchtiktok.

The video went viral with nearly 69,000 views as commenters shared their opinions on the two outfits.

One person wrote: “I hate to say it but he was right sis. You all look good.”

Another commented: “He was right, you look beautiful in that dress, wear it more often.”

A third said: “No hate but he was right.”

A fourth added: “Your husband has good taste. He finally chose you.”

The post wasn’t the first time Mikey expressed concerns about Elaine’s style choices.

He had previously told his wife that a two-piece red set that showed off her toned stomach and legs was inappropriate for their child’s school.

She acknowledged her husband’s objections and chose to wear a floor-length black dress instead.

Viewers argued in the comments section of the video that Elaine shouldn’t have changed her outfit.

“No man tells me what to wear,” one person said.

“Hahaha I’m the worst I would have turned into a little more miserable haha maybe that’s why I have two failed marriages,” a third added.
