In her videotapesTikTok user, named Crispy Like Fried Chicken (@crispylikefriedchicken), explaining: “Honestly, they were the easiest thing I’ve ever made and so delicious.”

As a first step, she demonstrated a helpful tip for preparing potatoes.

“Start by chopping up some potatoes,” she says. I learned this tip from a friend who is also a mom, just microwave them for 10 minutes until they are soft.

“Afterward [cook them for] another 10 minutes in the air fryer, easy to make.”

In the next step, she fried the dried anchovies over low heat until golden brown.

“Then I would add some garlic, ideally I would make my own sambal but since I already had this on hand I just used this,” she explains.

She recommends mixing onions, garlic, salt and sugar together if you don’t have a pre-made mixture.

“Mix that mixture until it thickens and you can add those little red peppers if you want it to be spicy,” she says.

After adding sambal, she seasoned the dish with pepper and continued to stir until all the ingredients were golden brown.

“Then I add the potatoes and we mix it very thoroughly and you’re done,” she told viewers.

“That’s it, so easy, this really only took about 10 minutes.”
