She said the key to the recipe included a secret ingredient in the sauce.

Shruthi (@hellofromshruthi) shared the recipe in a video with her TikTok followers.

The Texas-based content creator revealed the nutritious and healthy pasta dish: “This is your next lazy girl meal that’s packed with protein and yes, it’s just pasta. ,” she said.

She starts by sautéing some garlic with crushed red pepper, oregano, and thyme to start making the sauce.

The chef advises that to make the recipe easier, a ready-made sauce can be used.

Next, she adds the beans and bakes them.

She added some chopped whole tomatoes, filled the whole box with the juice.

She said: “Let it simmer and add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

When the sauce is boiling, she mashes the beans: “I think it makes the sauce a little thicker,” she reveals.

Last but not least, she added protein pasta and topped the meal with some parmesan cheese.

“I had some lentil pasta here,” she said.

The content creator suggested using lentil or chickpea pasta for extra protein.
