My mom hack will keep your toddler from drawing on your walls and is so easy to clean up

After watching kids make a mess of their homes by coloring all over the walls, a toddler mom said she wasn’t going to let that happen.

She came up with a genius activity that gives her daughters the same effect but saves her the heavy clean up.

Berlin-based 32-year-old mom Vic (@vicandfood) often shares sneak peaks into her sometimes chaotic life with two girls under the age of two.

Thankfully, she’s managed to avoid one very common disaster that happens when you have toddlers at home: drawing on your white walls.

Still wanting to keep her girls’ creative juices flowing, she gave them a palette filled with watercolor paints.

But their canvas? The smooth interior of a bathtub.

“The toddler hack I wish I knew earlier,” she began in the clip.

As her little ones smudged a variety of dark colors across the tub’s surface, Vic sprayed some water from the faucet and rubbed her hand against the drawing to show how easily it comes off.

“Keeps your walls white and your toddler busy for at least half an hour. I promise,” she raved.

Another bonus is that because her kids were already in the bath, she wouldn’t need to transfer them afterwards.

“And so easy to clean your kid afterwards,” she noted.

Vic knows well how hard it is to find time to do anything around the house with two kids constantly wanting your attention, so she was thrilled with this hack.

“Could finally get something done,” she wrote in the caption.

Her hack means her girls will still get to paint but won't ruin her space or make a mess
