My new neighbor selfishly demanded that I move my car in front of my house, he wouldn’t take no for an answer

A homeowner shared her shock after a neighbor asked her to move her car to accommodate his own.

The stunned woman recorded the man next door politely asking her to move her vehicle outside his house, even though there were no reserved parking spaces on the street.

“Hello ma’am, good afternoon,” Wonder Teacher Washington (@Wonderteacherwashington)s neighbor said at the beginning of the Video.

“I just bought my new car and can’t find a parking space near here. I was wondering if you could park your car in front of my house? Because I need this parking space.”

Washington quickly reminded him that the street where she and her neighbors park is public and therefore she has no obligation to move her car.

“No, I can’t,” she replied quickly.

“This street is not a reserved parking space.”

Their neighbor appeared taken aback and opened his mouth to continue his argument before Washington quickly cut him off.

“My husband said if you have a problem with that, you can talk to him when he gets home,” she said.

The neighbor politely agreed, but according to her replies in the comments section, he didn’t confront her husband.

“I hope that idiot actually came back to talk to your husband?” one user asked.

“No, I think he got the memo. We saw him today. He went up the block to get his car and looked down,” Washington replied.

While it’s certainly not illegal to ask Washington to move his car, it could be considered legitimate, as one commenter mentioned.

“The self-entitlement is crazy,” they wrote, followed by an expressionless emoji.

Another viewer was convinced that Washington’s video was fake, given her neighbor’s audacity.

“No, this must be a skit, has he spoken to your husband?” you asked.

“Girl I’m speechless, he’s waiting and we saw him today, he looked down and kept walking,” Washington replied.
