Mystery as body is found on beach where Dr Who & Poldark were filmed – as cops rush to scene

On the beach where Dr. Who and Poldark were filmed, a body was found.

Police have confirmed they are investigating the tragic incident, which was reported around 2.45pm today.

The mysterious body was discovered in Dunraven Bay, also known as Southerndown Beach, off the coast of the Vale of Glamorgan.

The beach is often used for the filming of films and TV shows including the BBC’s ‘Poldark’ and ‘Doctor Who’.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene and are still at the scene while South Wales Police continue the investigation.

Officials have not yet identified the individual and have launched an investigation into the death.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police were called at around 2.45pm this afternoon with reports that a body had been found in Dunraven Bay.

“Emergency services are on duty and the incident is ongoing.”
