It was the first time the duos had brought viewers the latest news from their brand new BBC breakfast studio.

However, Naga made an embarrassing mistake when she told viewers the time.

The star faced the camera and informed viewers that it was getting close to 8:30 a.m.

But Naga was an hour ahead as it was only 7:30am according to the clock on the screen.

She said, “It’s almost eight thirty, that’s still on the program…”

Keen-eyed Beeb viewers immediately noticed the mistake and took to social media – forcing the presenter to apologize.

One said: “@BBCBreakfast it’s 7.30am not 8.30am naga.”

A second wrote: “Naga just said ‘half past seven’. I was a little scared that I’d be late for work…”

“Are we back on EU time,” joked a third viewer.

Naga then replied to a viewer and apologized for the mistake by simply saying, “Oops, sorry!”

Naga was recently “scolded” by weatherman Matt Taylor, 47, who was replacing Carol Kirkwood last week.

Charlie and Matt talked about sunrises, with Charlie referring to the “frosting” you get when the early morning sun comes up.

But noticing that Naga wasn’t exactly engrossed in their conversation, Matt said, “Speaking of glazing. Someone glazed. Shall we continue with the weather forecast?”

Naga looked relaxed as she reclined on the red sofa and joked, “You’re very thoughtful Matthew.”

Luckily, the two took the taunts in good spirits and Matt started his weather forecast.
