Napoli want €100m for Man Utd target Osimhen

The summer transfer window is closed for the big leagues in Europe. But looking ahead to January, there are a lot of rumors circulating about who is moving where. Transfer Talk brings you the latest in rumours, rumours, comings, goings and of course deals done!

TOP STORY: Napoli presented Osimhen demands

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis demands 100 million euros Victor Osimhen and, according to Calciomercato, will only listen to offers from June.

It comes amid interest from Premier League duo Manchester United and Newcastle United, who are expected to have buying power in the upcoming transfer window.

Napoli have been in incredible form this season; having already led their Champions League group ahead of Liverpool, Gli Azzurri will go into the World Cup with at least an eight-point lead in Serie A regardless of the results of Sunday’s games.

Osimhen has undoubtedly contributed to that success, recording 10 goals and three assists in just 14 games across all competitions.

The Nigeria international may have suffered from an injury but seven of his Serie A goals and two of his assists have come in his six league games since then, suggesting there hasn’t been a lasting impact.

The Red Devils have been the team most closely associated with the 23-year-old in recent weeks, which can also be attributed to the ongoing situation in the area Cristiano Ronaldo and his possible exit.

But even with talk of a possible departure for the Portugal international in January after the World Cup, it seems Erik ten Hag will have to wait if Osimhen is to be the man to replace him.
