NBA All-Star Game 2023 live updates: Best moments and more

The 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend kicked off on Friday with the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge, but Saturday’s action packs a punch.

If there had to be a single winner of All-Star Saturday, it would be Philadelphia 76ers guard and slam dunk contest champion Mac McClung. McClung, who has a two-way contract with the Sixers and their G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, dominated the competition, earning a 50 score in all but one.

Otherwise, Utah, the event’s host state, dominated the day. Hometown Utah jazz trio Jordan Clarkson, Jabari Smith Jr. and Collin Sexton drove to victory in the Skills Challenge and Damian Lillard, who attended college outside of Salt Lake City, secured Utah another win by finishing in 3 – points competition.
