‘NCIS’ Recap: Season 19 Finale — Parker Ex-Wife Kidnapped

This Monday night in NCIS The season 19 finale, Parker gets a blast from his past, while Jimmy and Jessica grapple with the future.

The finale opens with a bird watcher/photographer testifying for a woman (do The fostering‘Teri Polo) was abducted along her jogging path by a masked man – except, based on texts he received/send later, the snapshot is expectation this.

When alarming photos were anonymously emailed to NCIS, Kasie was able to identify the woman as Vivian Kolchak, a former FBI agent – just as Parker stepped in to uncover Ex-wife stickers on the screen! As the team tightens down to locate Parker’s old man as soon as possible, it turns out that the main photographer was Frank Ressler, a former G-man – Parker’s disgraced ex-partner, in fact. But by the time Ressler team, he was murdered, in his garage. Parker confessed that he had gone to find his former partner the night before, but no one was home – a claim that began to seem shaky when Parker’s DNA was found under Ressler’s fingernails.

Prior to that, Parker had been benched by Vance, Parker was brought into NCIS for questioning as a murder suspect, although Vance and McGee clearly didn’t really think he had abandoned Ressler. Vance agreed to “forget” the number to the DOJ for 48 hours, while the team investigated what was really going on. Finally, Jessica and Nick question Vivian, who managed to escape her captors and flag down a passing motorist. Her dimly-remembered clues lead the group to an abandoned pet store, where Jess and Nick find confirmation that Vivian yes was held there – along with a scrawled “NEVER”, as in the call card of his infuriating rival “Raven”, who taunted NCIS at the start of the season.

FBI Deputy Director Sweeney bursts into NCIS with two agents, trying to get Parker in, but Vance insists he doesn’t know where Alden is. Meanwhile, Jess, Nick and Tim see off Parker, who has a bag and is sneaking off with Vivian for the time being, to the place where they spent their honeymoon. But as Vivian fishes in the back seat for an old tape of their mix, we see her secretly texting someone mysterious, “Done. I have him.”

NCIS Jessica JimmyElsewhere in the finale, the distribution of new disclosure forms at the office made Jess see that Jimmy had listed her as a “workplace relationship.” When Jimmy is finally able to explain himself, he pretends to see their time together as just “a few coffee dates, right?” But Jess countered that mid-year we had, “Why deny the good stuff? And we yes something good… are we? “As they drew closer, Jimmy asked if what they had was worth ‘revealing’ and suggested to pull Jess into a kiss to find out – she then asked for another,” to make sure.”
