Ne-Yo Turned Down Signing Lucky Daye After Catching Him In His Bed w/ A Woman!!

Ne-Yo says he was once close to signing Lucky Daye but walked away after catching the singer in his own bed with a random woman.

“So he went to David Brown, worked, things were going well, I really like his voice and his energy. You know, the songs that we did, I have to f*ck find them songs because we actually did some – actually, one of them, you know. The remix to ‘Miss Independent’ with me and Jamie Foxx and [Fabolous]. Verse by Jamie Foxx – Lucky Daye wrote this verse. He wrote the verse because it was supposed to be him, we wanted to do the joint together. That’s when I tried to sign him, he was supposed to be my artist, but some things happened,” he told the FAQ podcast.

Ne-Yo gave Lucky Daye full control of his home, but told him not to go into the master bedroom.

Well, Ne-Yo came home, he looked for the singer and found him in a compromising situation.

“So I come back one morning, open the door, don’t see that guy anywhere, go upstairs to my room. Sure enough, this n-gga sleeps with a chick in my bed. In my bed with a chick knocked out. And I’m like, ‘Aye bruh, yeah, come on, you gotta go, man, you gotta go.’ I gave you a rule, one. I told you a place you can’t go. Mind you, big crib. There are rooms, backyards, whatever, just don’t go into that room. You’re not just in my room, you’re in my bed, in my bed with someone.”

He continued, “I was upset at the time. I was mad. So that was the end of this whole situation. I’m like, ‘Bruh, if you can’t follow this simple rule, I don’t know if this thing is going to work.’
