Chef was originally a Japanese TV series before it was adapted into Iron Chef America, which ran for 13 seasons on the Food Network. Chefs take on a series of matches against established pros in cooking challenges that often focus on a specific ingredient. The show also features a number of spinoff series, including themed specials, regional competitions for the UK and Canada, and many other iterations. Original version of Iron Chef America also hosted by Alton Brown and Mark Dacascos’ President character, as well as Kevin Brauch, who looks like Kish will take over.
