FIFA 23 will feature the widest range of licensed leagues, clubs and stadiums in the series to date in the final release before the big rebrand. Here are all the new licenses confirmed for FIFA 23 so far.
With FIFA 22 ending, attention turns to what EA Sports has in store for FIFA 23. Fans have high expectations for the follow-up after the publisher promised to make the best FIFA game yet before the series is renamed EA Sports FC.
We’re expecting many big improvements on the gameplay side, but players are always interested to see which legendary clubs and stadiums join the ever-growing roster.
A handful of new licenses have already been confirmed, so we’ve listed every new FIFA 23 league, club, and stadium we’re aware of so far.
FIFA 23 new leagues
FIFA 23 will mark the debut of a number of leagues never before featured in the series, particularly from the world of women’s football. International squads were first added in FIFA 16, but women’s football hasn’t been expanded in a game since then.
Here’s every new league we know about in FIFA 23:
- FA Women’s Super League (England)
- National Women’s Soccer League (USA)
- Women’s Bundesliga (Germany)
- Division 1 Women (France)
- Vanarama National League (England)
Unfortunately, while players will be excited about the new leagues playable, both the J-League and Liga BBVA MX will be eliminated this year after Konami secured their licenses for eFootball.
In the months leading up to FIFA 23, leakers kept revealing a variety of clubs that weren’t featured in FIFA 22. donk trading tweeted on June 3 and claims one of Italy’s greatest teams will return.
Meanwhile, FUT22News believes that with the World Cup content coming to FIFA 23, a variety of international teams will find success come back. In fact, every team that qualified for the finals in Qatar is expected to show up.

FIFA 23 new stadiums
Stadiums are a big part of making the FIFA series feel like the finest recreation of the beautiful game. The opportunity to step onto the grass of one of the most famous arenas in the world adds significantly to the immersion.
Thankfully, FIFA 23 has even more spectacular venues, as well as some returning favorites. These terrains are assigned to the respective clubs in career mode and are available for use in Ultimate Team.

The Stadio Olimpico, Camp Nou, Allianz Arena and Allianz Stadium have all appeared in the franchise in the past, but they will be making a comeback after being exclusive to eFootball for a number of years.
