New ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha is the talk of the town, Sam needs help from Spinelli, and Cody doesn’t give up easy

ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for August 5thth reveal that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) situation has continued to deteriorate. Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) works hard while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has only one thing on his mind. We’ll also see Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) try, try again. Here’s what you need to know.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 5: Decision time…

First, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) have caught up on the recent news. It’s clearly about Sasha and her arrest for driving Carrie Underwood in Grant Smoltz’s (David Lautman) vehicle. Well, these three have stood by her side so far. But we think everyone has their limit and Lucy has definitely reached it.

We say this for two reasons. First, Maxie asks Lucy, “Are you talking about kicking Sasha out?” This clearly shows that it’s her idea. But we think it’s more for self-preservation than anything else. While Selina Wu (Lydia Look) showed a compassionate side by defending Sasha and Deception against a possible lawsuit following Sasha’s breakdown, she’s not totally soft. She made it clear to Lucy that she didn’t expect this to happen again and again.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 5: Help on the way

As for Sasha’s more pressing problem, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) appears to be on the job. He’ll tell Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), “The only way I can think of is to keep your wife out of jail.” Smart money, we think we’re him suggesting she go into a rehab program . And we’re not just talking about the previous pill incidents. There are clear anger issues and other things in the game. So if Sasha is willing to put her pride aside, admit that she needs help and commit to making a change, he could use that in her favor. We’re just not sure if Sasha is ready to take that step. We’ll see if Martin can be more convincing than Brando or Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 5: update

Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finds Chase poolside. And we think Chase will wonder if that’s a good sign when he asks, “Any chance of me getting back on the force?” We don’t think Dante will have the answer he wants, though. It will take a lot for Chase to get out of this mess considering he made the same mistake twice.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 5: Help please

Let’s talk to Sam. Apparently, she needs the help of Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) on a case. We have to assume she’s still working on the Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) situation. It’s time she called for backup. Eventually, the actual process itself is finished. For people who wanted so badly to help Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), they sure take their sweet time.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for August 5: Perseverance is key…

At least that’s what Cody’s motto seems to be. He approaches Britt, who will be anything but welcoming. In fact, she will ask him, “Is there any way you could take no for an answer?” We all know the answer to that. And we honestly think Britt isn’t resisting out of actual dislike or anything, so we think she should give in at least one more time. It’s her own issues that keep her from letting anyone in, and we think they would be a good match if she opened her mind a little.
