Developer Snowman has captivated gamers with handcrafted indie gems like The Alto Series, Where Cards Fall and Skate City. Today on Netflix’s Geeked Week stream, a new game called Lucky Luna was unveiled for iOS and Android, coming to Netflix’s streaming service later this summer. The game is free for all Netflix subscribers.
Fully pixelated, Lucky Luna is a vertically scrolling platform dungeon crawler. The big catch? You don’t have a jump button to get around. Players swipe left and right to guide Luna through trap-filled dungeons with hidden secrets and alternate paths.
Each level features a different environment and new mechanics, allowing players to explore in new ways. In story mode, your main goal is to collect as many pearls as possible to advance to the next level. You’ll also find new clues and light story elements to help you learn more about Luna’s past and discover her destiny.
Lucky Luna will also support an endless mode with procedurally generated runs for each environment. Here you can make a name for yourself on the leaderboards. Your score is based on your speed, bells collected, and the number of floors you’ve descended. Collect enough treasures from your runs and unlock additional endless dungeons to keep the run going.
Lucky Luna will debut later this summer.
