New York Leads America off a Renewable-Energy Cliff

The Biden administration blames the energy crisis on Vladimir Putin and American energy producers. In fact, it is the result of a failed approach to pursuing unattainable green energy goals instead of realistic ones. If this approach continues, costs will continue to soar while dependence on foreign sources increases. That’s what happened in my state.

Much of New York sits atop huge but untapped natural gas resources. Utica Shale stretches from my congressional district to Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio. It holds 38 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, 940 million barrels of oil, and 208 million barrels of liquid natural gas. New York Leads America off a Renewable-Energy Cliff
