NFL star Sebastian Joseph-Day says he was sexually assaulted by a TSA agent

NFL star Sebastian Joseph-Day claims he was sexually assaulted by a TSA agent in California.

“I just got really sexually assaulted by the TSA at @JohnWayneAir. After asking the gentleman to stop BC I feel uncomfortable and I feel this part of the review is unnecessary (after feeling what was needed),” Chargers defensive end Sebastian Joseph-Day tweeted. “Then they told me I was the problem after 3 TSA agents swarmed me.”

The athlete added that the incident was “extremely unnecessary and dehumanizing.”

TSA issued a statement regarding the Joseph-Day claims.

“TSA is aware of the allegations made by a traveler screened by TSA officials at the John Wayne Orange County Airport on Friday morning. We are reviewing the matter to determine whether our procedures have been followed and whether corrective action needs to be taken,” the agency said in a statement. “TSA remains committed to treating every traveler with dignity and respect while fulfilling its responsibility for security screening.”
