Nick Carter Counters R*pe Accusers – Media Takeover

Nick Carter has filed countersuits against two women who accused him of rape.

A counterclaim was filed against Shannon Ruth, who sued him in December for alleged sexual abuse. Melissa Schuman, a former teenage pop singer with girl group Dream, also accused him of raping him in 2017 … he’s suing her too.

According to the lawsuit, the accusers planned to “defame and defame Carter and otherwise ruin his reputation in order to gain attention and fame and/or extort money from Carter.”

The lawsuit also alleges that Schuman took advantage of his late brother Aaron Carter.

“The timing of the Schumans could not have been better given that Aaron was a drug addict, struggling with severe mental health issues and engaged in a misguided retaliatory campaign against Carter and other members of his family who worried about Aaron and pushed him to do so to seek professional help,” the lawsuit states. “Taking advantage of Aaron’s frail condition and family stresses to disguise their defamation campaign with credibility, Schuman, Jerome and Ruth relentlessly and repeatedly used Aaron to attempt to legitimize their frivolous stories.”

Nick Carter denies all allegations against him.
