Nikkita Lyons loved working with Natalya on NXT 2.0

NXT 2.0 star Nikkita Lyons recently shared how she feels wrestling with WWE veteran Natalya.

On NXT 2.0 two weeks ago, Lyons and Cora Jade joined Natalya and Lash Legend’s team. For all three young women in the match, it was an opportunity to work with one of WWE’s most talented and experienced performers.

In a recent interview with Ryan Satin about No characters podcast, Lyons said the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was awesome before and after their game:

“Oh my gosh, she’s amazing. She’s the sweetest, and I’m just grateful. With that said, she texted me this morning to see how my knees are. She is. what a sweetheart and amazing to work with. I enjoyed working with her and I can’t wait to do it again if given the chance.” (H/T: Wrestling Inc.)

It is important to be unique. All the things that make you different are the things you NEED to get to the top. Not only in @WWE, but in life. Keep killing it, @nikkita_wwe. And I know you will always pay it forward. twitter.com/btsportwwe/sta…

Along with superstars like Jade and Legend, Lyons is one of NXT 2.0’s most exciting young talents, and at 22, the future is bright.

Natalya recently went up against Cora Jade on NXT 2.0

After introducing Cora Jade, the upstart of NXT 2.0 last month, Nattie caught her idol as a child.

Last week on NXT, Jim Neidhart’s daughter delivered a lesson in humility when going up against the much less experienced Jade.

In an emotional contest, Ngoc lost. However, she failed to get past Nattie’s Sharpshooter, which ultimately resulted in the second-generation star only winning when stopped by the referee.

After the match, Natalya and Cora Jade temporarily put aside their differences and embraced.
