Noah Cyrus’ engagement hit trolls who called her ugly and reminds her of suicidal thoughts when she was 11

Noah Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ younger sister, says she was again bombarded with comments calling her ugly and criticizing her face and body, just like what she endured when they were just 11 and 12 years old old was.
Noah Cyrus attempted to share one of the most positive and exciting moments of her life on social media, only to encounter extreme negativity and cruelty.
Just three days after announcing her engagement, she took to her Instagram Stories, as reported by E! News, Miley Cyrus’ The little sister said that the “comments calling me ugly and commenting on my face and body” are once again people on the internet “working so hard to take my joy, love and happiness away from me.”

She also said the barrage of insensitive comments reminded her of the time she endured the same kind of online abuse when she was just 11 and 12, a time when, as she put it, she was “still at it, my to shape the brain.
“The same people on the internet made me believe that I — the little girl herself — didn’t deserve to live because she wasn’t good enough and didn’t meet your standards of beauty,” Noah said.
“Today I was reminded yet again of how corrupt the internet has become and how it has turned me against myself and led me to believe that I should kill myself, that it is not worth living and that I have become suicidal and a drug addict” she continued.
She said she’s concerned for the kids growing up with the internet and social media today, and any future kids she might have if she experiences this kind of online hate again.

“No one deserves the words I read today,” she said, expressing gratitude for the progress she has made on her mental health journey that has enabled her to endure this illness.
“I’m lucky that I’m at a point where those words don’t make me want to hurt myself again,” she said. “The internet is hell on earth and we’re all here together.”
Continuing her message in another post, she said, “We need to stop judging people by who they love, what they look like, where they’re from and how THEY lead THEIR lives.” [emphases hers –ed.]
“People lose their lives because of words like that,” she continued. “Murderful words you people drop at the push of a button and no accountability is ever taken. I’m so tired of seeing her every day. It makes me really sick.”

On Monday, Noah posted a carousel of images on her Instagram page, culminating in the shot of a beautiful engagement ring. Her caption was a message to her new fiancé, fashion designer Pinkus.
“The best moment of my life was saying ‘yes’ to spending the rest of our lives together,” she wrote. “I never thought I would ever meet a man like you or someone so selfless and full of love.”
“You’re the least discerning person I’ve ever met,” she continued. “The most talented, the most loyal, the nicest person. I have never felt so loved or in love. I now know that feeling of not being long enough forever.”
