North Korea Says It Isn’t Supplying Russia With Weapons

SEOUL – North Korea has denied supplying Russia with arms or ammunition, a refutation of a previous US claim that the Kim Jong-un regime could supply Moscow with military supplies.

There have never been any military arms exports to Russia, nor are there any plans to do so, said an unnamed North Korean vice director of national defense in charge of military equipment. But the Kim regime has asserted its “lawful right” to export and import military equipment and to develop, manufacture and possess such weapons, the unnamed official said in a state media statement released Thursday local time.
