SEOUL — North Korea test-fired two short-range ballistic missiles off the East Coast on Thursday, shortly after the United States said at the United Nations that Pyongyang was feeling encouraged.
Thursday’s test marked the Kim Jong Un regime’s sixth weapons launch in 12 days, adding another year of history to missile tests.
