Oops — Salma Hayek bared almost everything with Channing Tatum

Before anyone turns their heads on Salma Hayek Pinault in the future, they should first check with her if she’s wearing underwear.

The actor was telling Jimmy Kimmel – and all his late-night show viewers – about a semi-scandalous moment while filming Magic Mike’s Last Dance with Channing Tatum.

In keeping with the franchise, which is built on Tatum’s history as an exotic dancer before he made it in Hollywood, the film includes an elaborate sequence of Tatum performing a lap dance for Hayek Pinault.

Kimmel called the scene, ahem, “vigorous,” and explained, “He chants all over your tatum, that’s what he does!” But Hayek Pinault had specific details about one part of the dance that didn’t make it into the film . It happened while she and Tatum were rehearsing.

“I’m upside down and my legs had to be somewhere, but you get disoriented upside down and I didn’t do what I was supposed to do,” she said. “So in rehearsal I went head down, almost hit my head … he was holding my pants.”

Just one problem with that.

“I was really worried because my pants – they pulled, my pants came off and I couldn’t remember if I had underwear [on] or not, right now,” she said. “Instead of putting my hands up to protect my head, I just held on to my pants.”

Tatum didn’t understand, she said, and yelled, “Hands up! … Hands up! Hold on to my legs!”

She just held on to her diaper pants in case she didn’t have panties. (The video is worth watching, if only to see her act it out as she tells the story.)

“I was like, no, no, until everyone came in and kind of took me away from him,” Hayek Pinault said. “And he said, ‘What’s the matter with you?’

“I said, ‘What’s wrong with me ME?’”

Still, Hayek Pinault said it was about time she was on the receiving end of an exotic dance in her role as Maxandra Mendoza.

“I deserve it,” she said. “Because in so many movies before, I had to play the stripper, and now I have to sit and enjoy!” She enjoyed the fact that she didn’t have to get naked during the scene or twirl around a stripper pole all day.

Magic Mike’s Last Dance hits US theaters on February 10th.
