Amanda Owen has shared an adorable carousel with photos of her children at the family farm Ravenseat, which was closed to the public without warning earlier this year.

The heartbreaking post included seven snaps of the 49-year-old’s young children petting and feeding eight chickens.

The chickens surrounded the children as they hand fed them and threw some popcorn in the air for them to eat.

The Our Yorkshire Farm star captioned the post with a tongue-in-cheek message that read: “A hen party… A plan is hatched… Popcorn chicken. #chicken #chickens #bachelorette party.”

Her followers rushed to her comments section to welcome her and express their surprise at how big the kids have grown, with one commenting: “Nice to see the kids again.” [heart eyes emoji] Thanks for writing.”

A second user followed: “They’re all growing up so fast, it’s so lovely to see them.” Thank you for posting your beautiful photos.” [red heart emoji] xx.”

Another added: “Time doesn’t stand still for anyone, the family has grown so much! Sending happy vibes to you all.”

A fourth said: “Nice to see your kids again – and see how big Clemmie has grown!”

A fifth teased: “Oo I think you missed a Saturday Night Girl movie on the list.” I can’t believe how much the girls have grown, Amanda, I remember when they were little.”

Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm was a documentary series that featured Amanda, her nine children and her ex-husband Clive on their farm.

The broadcaster canceled the series last year and in July this year the family farm in Ravenseat was abruptly closed to the public.

The shepherdess wrote on her website: “Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice, so unfortunately we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for your understanding, Amanda.”

Even though Amanda has taken a break from social media following her divorce and only posts occasionally, her children, especially her eldest children, have not shied away from updating their fans.

Their second eldest, Reuben, shared a picture of him and his mother beaming at the camera, as well as a photo of him looking at a huge JCB excavator and a large piece of land, with the excavator in the distance.

Fans showed him and his mother their love and support in the comments section, and many were happy to see him posting regularly again.

Amanda returned to social media with a bang when she revealed she was a judge for Deliciously Yorkshire, which celebrates Yorkshire food and drink.

In a previous post, the star looked stunningly glamorous in a picture where she wore a flowy blue dress alongside a chic white pair of trainers and wore her brunette locks down.

She captioned the post: “In the jury eating cakes, rolls and PIES!! Absolutely @deliciousyorkshire.”
