Fans of the TLC show Outdaughtered were shocked to see that she wouldn’t be coming back for another season. They all thought it was canceled but it looks like that didn’t happen at all. Adam Busby and Danielle Busby are still connected to the network and trying to overcome some of life’s challenges these days.
Outdaughter: What happened?
Of course, there are a lot of rumors about the show, and the only people who really know the story are the Busbys. The couple have six daughters, including quintuplets. The show was based on their daily lives and struggles and focused on watching the girls grow up. The couple have decided to take a break from filming and “regroup as a family.”
Outdaughtered: The Busbys weren’t cancelled, they wanted out
The show hasn’t been on TLC since May 2021, and fans would really like to know what they’ve been doing to keep busy. They weren’t on social media that often and their YouTube channel was lacking in content. No sooner did fans get nervous about the family than Adam and Danielle decided to share a video on YouTube.
The couple told fans: “The show has not been cancelled. It just became a burden for everyone. We came home and had this little window of time where we could either film something or they had to get ready for the sport. We got through last season and we were like, man, I think everyone, including the crew, just needs a break.”
They’re not sure if they’ll do another season of the show, but they’re not giving up on the idea either. Adam said: “We’re kind of keeping things open-ended. There are no hard feelings or animosity between us and the network or production. We’re still in talks with the network and communicating with them.” Danielle said a break was “healthy for them,” then added, “We’re ready to find out where God wants us to be next. We don’t know what the future will bring.”
Fans of the show were very sad to see it go off the air, but for the most part they understand that the girls are growing up and devoting more time to extracurricular activities and sports. Being on TV is hard enough as it is, and those extras added on top of that are just a recipe for disaster. You can keep an eye on the Busbys on their social media accounts.
