Palestinian Gunman Injures at Least Eight People in Jerusalem Shooting

JERUSALEM – A Palestinian gunman opened fire on a bus near the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City, injuring at least eight people, including American nationals, and leaving two in serious condition, Israeli police said.

Among the seriously injured was a pregnant woman who was shot in the abdomen. Doctors delivered the baby and both the newborn and the mother are in stable condition, an official at Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Hospital said.
