Pam Anderson elaborates on Tim Allen allegedly flashing her

Pamela Anderson is opening up about her recent comments about Tim Allen just days after she claimed the comedian exposed himself to her on the set of ‘Home Improvement’.

On Sunday, Variety released an excerpt from Anderson’s forthcoming memoir, Love, Pamela, in which Anderson said Allen flashed her on her first day of shooting the popular sitcom in 1991.

The “Baywatch” actor elaborated further on the situation on Thursday, telling Entertainment Tonight that Allen “had no bad intentions” and that his job as a comedian is “to cross the line.”

“I doubt anyone would try this post #MeToo,” Anderson told Entertainment Tonight via text message. “It’s a new world.”

Allen refuted Anderson’s report in a statement to the Los Angeles Times on Monday, claiming that “it never happened.”

“I would never do that,” said Allen, who appeared on Home Improvement as Tool Time host and handyman Tim Taylor.

Anderson played “Tool Time Girl” Lisa for the first two seasons of the show before leaving the show to work on Baywatch. She was 23 and Allen was 37 at the time of the alleged incident.

Anderson’s comments Thursday build on her earlier skepticism about the #MeToo movement.

“There are good things about it, but like I always say, ‘Action is stronger than a hashtag,'” she said in a 2019 interview with The Times. “Feminism has given us a voice for 50 years. … We are allowed to speak out about the abuse in our lives and we must act in the moment. We also have to be careful about destroying lives… I have two boys, so I’m always worried about paralyzing them too.”

She continued to describe herself as a feminist, but added that she’s “not really a fan” of third-wave feminism.

In Anderson’s much-anticipated memoir, out Tuesday, she wrote that she left her dressing room when Allen uncovered.

“He opened his robe and quickly showed me – completely naked underneath,” she wrote. “He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we are the same. I laughed uncomfortably.”

As Anderson’s allegations against Allen swirled online this week, an old clip from 1992 surfaced showing Allen showing fellow “Home Improvement” co-star Patricia Richardson while filming the ABC sitcom.

The video is part of a blooper reel from a Season 2 episode of Home Improvement. During the scene, which was filmed in front of a studio audience, Allen enters the set in a kilt. Richardson, who played his wife Jill Taylor, says she thinks it looks sexy on him but “wish it was shorter.” The joke elicited laughter from the audience.

At this point, Allen raises the kilt towards Richardson, who drops her jaw in shock as the audience’s laughter mounts. The camera perspective doesn’t show exactly what Richardson saw.

Richardson told TMZ this week that she was genuinely shocked by the impromptu moment, but that “he was well dressed underneath.”

“I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not from a man in boxers,” she said. Pam Anderson elaborates on Tim Allen allegedly flashing her
