Georgie has arrived Great UK coupons and bargains Facebook group to share your bargain purchases.

Next to a photo of the Bestway Underwater Splash Pad, Georgie wrote: “Paid £30 at the start of the summer.

“Only one for next year because my kids punctured ours!”

The waterbed is currently in the clearance section at Argos and has been reduced to an impressive £9.

“I have one, they are so bright,” one person commented.

And reviews on the Argos website also paint a positive picture.

One person wrote: “Bought this to replace the previous water pad.”

“This is very good, very interesting for children. The water spray is not too high but still effective.”

“Brought it to my nephew instead of filling up the pool, he loved it,” another added.

However, others claim the water jets on the splash pad don’t fly as high as expected.

One person wrote: “This has the potential to be a great splash/paddling pool with the added fun of a sprinkler… however the base does not separate from the rim with the hole for the sprinkler, so The air just escapes.”

“A faucet always needs high pressure to make this worthwhile.

“It’s a shame as a dual purpose, shallow rug, would be suitable for younger children… maybe I didn’t read the full description but I have a disappointed child.”

Another added: “Bought for my niece, a bit disappointed as the water doesn’t spray much but maybe not enough pressure in my faucet.”

“But she loves it anyway!”

If you can’t find one of the reduced splash pads at Argos, there are other options elsewhere.

In the comments section of Georgie’s post, other parents revealed they had found similar children at Asda.
