Passport issue keeps Giants punter Jamie Gillan in London

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — New York Giants punter Jamie Gillan did not travel back from London with the team, sources told ESPN. He is staying abroad as he is dealing with a passport issue.
The Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers 27-22 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. They were aware of the issue before the trip and expect to get it back this week before playing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
New York did not work out contingency weather on Tuesday.
Gillan, nicknamed “Scottish Hammer”, hails from Inverness, Scotland. As a teenager he came to the United States.
Gillan didn’t play football until midway through his senior season of high school in Maryland.
This is his fourth pro season. In his freshman year with the Giants, he averaged 51.0 yards per punt.
The NFL Network reported that Gillan came to the US with this father on a NATO visa, and that was never changed to a work visa when he joined the NFL.
