Patti LaBelle fell off stage during Milwaukee concert due to bomb threat

MILWAUKEE, WI (WPVI) — A Patti LaBelle concert in Milwaukee was canceled Saturday after the singer was forced off the stage over a bomb threat.

The video, posted to Twitter, shows Patti LaBelle on stage speaking to the crowd while three people push away her mic stand and escort her off the stage.

LaBelle was only on the show for a few songs when everything ground to a halt.

In a statement released on Twitter, concert promoter Pabst Theater Group said: “Tonight’s Patti LaBelle show at the Riverside Theater has been postponed after a bomb threat was investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department. We are grateful for the efforts of the Milwaukee Police Department and our customers and staff to ensure their safe and orderly exit.”

The group also said they are working with LaBelle to reschedule the show.

Police are not releasing any further details about the threat, but say no one was injured.
