Paul Mescal finds scrutiny of his private life ‘indecent’: ‘It makes me angry’
Paul Mescal has addressed the overwhelming public interest in his personal life that inevitably accompanied his rise to fame.
Since the 27-year-old Irish actor’s breakthrough role in the romantic drama mini-series normal peopleBased on Sally Rooney’s bestselling book of the same name, Mescal has garnered a hugely devoted following.

In a new interview with Harper’s BazaarMescal spoke about fan comments about his personal life, saying that “it’s nobody’s business because it’s lewd.”
“And it’s unkind,” he said. “Honest answer, it makes me angry … It’s the entitlement to the information that people expect that just drives me crazy.”
He admitted that “if I want to do TV shows like normal people, there will be appetites from all over the world,” adding, “Eighty percent of it is tasty. And then twenty percent of it is devastating.”

Bridgers, 28, previously condemned “fans” who “harassed and dehumanized” her on her way to her father’s funeral in March.
“I have seen, at one of the lowest points in my life, people who claim to love me fucking dehumanize and shame me and fucking bullying me on my way to my father’s funeral,” the petition reads illness,” the singer said in a recent interview. The two are yet to confirm their relationship status, but in June, Keith Urban accidentally posted a TikTok video showing the couple kissing during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert.
Urban apologized to Bridgers in a later interview, saying: “It felt very uncomfortable. i felt bad I was just busy with the concert. You never know what’s going to happen.”
