Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for September 22nd: Finally?

It’s been a long road for Chad. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the road to finding Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) killer has been a twisted one, fraught with false starts. Not to mention increasing psychological instability in Chad! But it’s hard to blame him when so many clues turned out to be false.

Eventually, though, it looks like he’s learned who killed Abigail. Sonny mentioned the smell of vanilla before his attack. When Chad smelled the same scent on Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), you could see the dots connect. We assume that the sequel to this cliffhanger will be ugly. Chad isn’t known for dealing with potential suspects in a rational manner, and we think this time will be particularly bad. This time, his potential target isn’t already in Salem Police custody! Not that it makes a difference, we suppose. Just ask Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Elsewhere, Sonny appears to lash out at Alex when he feels his brother has betrayed him. We suspect Sonny won’t be happy about his brother being in charge while he’s gone. Especially when he hears about the drink Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) shared a drink in to celebrate a business success. He specifically asked Alex to retire, so I’m sure that won’t make him happy.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers see Jennifer caught in the act. We’re assuming someone else will catch them with those pills. Since she was last seen with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), we can’t help but wonder if he’s the next to know her secret. We think there’s a big chance there will be a fight no matter who it is. And it’s possible this will lead to that crash in the fall preview video.

Eventually, Craig and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) cross paths. Since Leo was in custody the last time we saw him, we’re assuming Craig will happen to be around. And we can only imagine how Leo will react, assuming he’s convinced Craig set him up. But can he (and Chad) convince Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of that? We will see.
