Pedestrian hit by SUV in Murfreesboro

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Murfreesboro Police Department reported that a pedestrian was hit by an SUV in Rutherford County Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on the Old Fort Parkway near the New Salem Highway

Westbound lanes of the Old Fort Parkway near the New Salem Highway are closed, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD). Traffic will be diverted onto the New Salem Highway.
