Pedestrian struck and killed on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are investigating a fatal accident on Roosevelt Boulevard in northeast Philadelphia.

It happened just after 6 a.m. Friday in the north lanes of the boulevard between Tyson Avenue and Cottman Avenue.

According to the police, a pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle in the inner driveway.

Helicopter 6 above the scene showed police vehicles blocking traffic.

Action News is told that the driver of the suspicious vehicle stayed at the scene.

The investigations are ongoing.
