People are just realising their Wi-Fi speed is instantly boosted by fixing four common mistakes

According to EE, a sluggish Wi-Fi connection could be due to serious errors you are making on your computer.
Before you blame your ISP, make sure your computer isn’t suffering from these common problems.
EE has reported four laptop problems that may make it seem like your Wi-Fi is slow.
Run many apps at the same time
When you have a large number of apps open at the same time, your laptop works overtime.
So not only will your broadband seem slow, your computer will also struggle to load anything.
To fix the problem, simply close as many programs as possible and see if it makes a difference.
Not enough memory
To function smoothly, your laptop needs memory. This feature is called Random Access Memory (RAM).
The more RAM you have, the better.
Completion programs – as described above – will be helpful.
But you can also perform a disk cleanup.
Search for “Disk Cleanup” on your laptop and check all the boxes.
Then click Clean up system files.
Web browser add-ons
Web browser add-ons for apps like Chrome can be useful.
But they can also slow down your browser.
Consider removing any unnecessary files as you may notice a speed boost.
Too many apps are loaded at startup
Loading too many apps as soon as you start your laptop can also cause slowdowns.
Go into each app’s settings and disable its ability to load on startup.
