In an article called ‘5 things/places you might forget to clean’, the cleaning expert begins with a place Britons always forget to clean – the toothbrush holder.

They recommend using half a Milton sanitizer to get rid of germs and bacteria lurking both inside the toothbrush holder and the brush itself.

All people have to do is place the tablet in the holder, fill it with water, and then insert your toothbrush inside.

Other points include toilet brush.

Here, experts recommend disinfecting with Zoflora and some hot water and then soaking for five minutes.

Another place they say people forget to clean is underneath the kitchen cabinets.

For this task, they asked to spray Fabulosa disinfectant on a cloth and then wipe it clean.

To clean the hood filter, they think it’s best to use dishwashing liquid and hot water, soak it in water first and then scrub it thoroughly.

The last place marked is the radiator and to solve this they recommend using fabric softener and hot water.

Then take a cloth and wipe the radiators, which will not only keep them clean but also “smell great” if the heating is on.

The post has been viewed 1.1 million times, garnered around 86,000 likes and generated 300 comments.

Many people went online to share their own tips, but others were taken aback by the toothbrush cleaning tip.

One person wrote: “Love this. However, I am too picky to put someone else’s toothbrush in the same solution as mine.”

Another added: “Why didn’t I think of this?”

The third asked: “If you put your toothbrush in that thing, would it taste funny?”

While TikToker replied, “I usually wash them off afterwards.”

Some commented that they used denture removers on their toothbrushes to clean them.

Others argue that it’s best to go buy a new toothbrush.

The tips come after a cleaning expert revealed three areas in the kitchen that people often forget.
