People are only just realising how you’re supposed to empty a wheelbarrow and they’re baffled by how easy it is

People are just now realizing that there is an easy way to empty a wheelbarrow when you are working on your house or garden.

Turns out you don’t have to tip the whole thing over or carefully balance it on a board to deflate it.

interior architect Sophie Robinson I shared a clip showing how to make the job easier to do and it’s perfect when you’re dumping a wheelbarrow into a container.

In the clip she shared on Instagram, master builder Tom demonstrates the top tip.

Once your wheelbarrow is full, apparently all you have to do is lean the handles on the edge of the bin to empty it.

You can then lift the other end of the wheelbarrow and the handles slide over it, allowing the rubbish to slide out all at once.

Although Tom showed how the trick works when you use a container, it also works when you dump it into a garbage bag or even a garbage heap.

The amazed viewers couldn’t believe they didn’t already know about the simple hack.

One said: “I walked the fluff plank for years!! And I could have done it.”

A second commented: “Stunning. Excellent tip!”

“I’ve been doing this for over 25 years,” wrote a third.

And another said: “I can’t believe I didn’t think of doing it like this. An ace tip.”

“I’ve always used a plank and wobbled on it, thanks for the insight,” wrote another.

But not everyone was sure that the tip would be so useful, especially if you do it regularly.

“I’m so glad I didn’t think about that when I was working in construction. My back is bad enough as it is,” one commented.

“Yeah, but try that 200 times a day,” agreed another.
