People are just now realizing that your Volkswagen has a hidden compartment that could save you hundreds of pounds.
Engine expert Tareq Sharabi revealed where the secret storage compartment is in a clip posted on YouTube.

Tareq turned the headlight adjustment dial on the left side of his Volkswagen Passat’s dashboard to loosen it.
The dial slid out to reveal a deep circular compartment in the dashboard.
You can use this space to hide valuables like jewellery, cash or your house keys – preventing thieves from forcing your car open to steal them.
In addition to the secret dashboard space, the VW Passat also has a hidden compartment under the rear armrest on the middle seat.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI also features secret corners behind the dashboard vents, under the cup holder and under the center console.
People were divided over Tareq’s claims about the hidden compartment of his car.
One said, “This is how you replace the switch when it breaks.”
