Peter Andre and Katie Price’s son, Junior, hits number one in the charts within hours of releasing the new single

JUNIOR Andre’s single has reached number one on the charts just hours after releasing his new single.

The teenager, the son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, released the new track on Friday morning.

Junior’s song titled “Only One” has now shot to number one on the official iTunes charts.

This morning the 18-year-old appeared on ITV’s Loose Women to promote the single.

The release came after he signed a deal with Columbia Records two years ago.

He hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father Peter, who has had a successful pop career himself.

Proud for his son, Pete wrote on Instagram: “I can’t believe Junior is appearing on Loose Woman alone for the FIRST time today.”

“His single ‘Only One’ is OUT NOW. Download on iTunes. Thank you to everyone for your support.”

In another update, he was moved to tears and told fans: “Yeah, a little emotional… but for a reason.”

“So proud of you, son, for being you. ‘Only One’ is out now.”

Junior had been performing the catchy track at music festivals throughout the summer.
