Philadelphia hazmat: More than 100 cans of gasoline reportedly found inside home: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police and fire departments are at the scene of a hazmat incident in West Philadelphia Monday night.

It happens on the 100 block of North 59th Street.

After reports of a strong smell of gas from the house, the emergency services moved to the scene.

According to police, about 154 individual containers filled with a liquid believed to be gasoline were found in the abandoned apartment.

No injuries were reported.

No further details about the investigation were released.
