Philadelphia shooting: Man shoots mother of his 3 children following argument inside home

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A 31-year-old man is accused of shooting dead a woman in Philadelphia’s Tacony neighborhood while four children, ages 1 to 8, were in the home.
It happened at a house on the 6700 block of Jackson Street on Saturday.
Karell Young, 31, was charged with attempted murder, multiple child endangerment and other related offenses.
While all four children were in another room, authorities said Young fired his gun after an argument between his current partner and former partner.

The 29-year-old woman, mother of Young’s three children, sustained injuries to her face.
Young’s current partner, the mother of his fourth child, was unharmed.
Authorities say an 8-year-old child called 911 for help.
Young was charged Sunday morning and is being held on $3 million bail.
