Philadelphia Traffic: Water main break shuts down Roosevelt Boulevard inner drives in Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A water main burst has shut down a portion of the inner driveways of Roosevelt Boulevard in northeast Philadelphia.

The break occurred around 5:30 a.m. Monday on the Boulevard at Goodnaw Street.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes are affected.

Traffic passes on the outer lanes, but vehicles drive through flood water on the carriageway.

Police could be seen blocking traffic from entering the interior driveways.

Delays are to be expected when rush hour begins.
