Police are investigating a shooting that left one dead in Chinatown Sunday morning

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Chinatown.

It happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning on the 1000 block of Cherry Street.

Police found a shooting victim in a second-floor apartment above a building housing the Fujian Association of Philadelphia, an organization that helps new immigrants.

However, officials confirm that this is not the actual Fujian Association building.

Police tell Action News the victim is a man in his 20s.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, an arrest was made and a weapon was seized.

So far no word on a motive.
