Police officers visit Britney Spears after fans demand welfare
Concerned fans called police at Britney Spears’ home Tuesday for a wellness check after the pop singer deleted her Instagram.
Officers went to Spears’ home but said she was fine.
“Last night around 11pm they received some calls from fans about Britney deleting her Instagram and fans were concerned,” Captain Cameron Henderson said in a statement of any kind of harm or danger.”
Britney has deactivated and reactivated her social media accounts several times over the past year.
Speaking to Page Six, a source claimed the star was upset about the wellness check.
Days before deleting her Instagram account this week, she posted a cryptic message on her social media.
“Shit being me,” she wrote, before adding, “Giving everything to someone I love just gives me the dagger in my heart!!!”
