Popular fast food chain and McDonald’s rival discontinues fan favorite – and customers are ‘devastated’

An iconic “munchie meal” has been removed from the menu at a fast food joint, and fans aren’t happy about it.
Jack In The Box guests unleashed a firestorm of disapproval on Twitter when they learned the Chick-n-Tater-Melt was being canceled.
The delicious sandwich consisted of a croissant and was filled with a crispy chicken patty, a hash brown patty, ranch bacon, bacon and a mix of three different cheeses.
Fans have been ordering the sandwich since its launch in 2014, and they’re finding it hard to absorb the loss.
Some guests said it was the “best dish on the menu‘ while others have vowed not to return until you return to the menu.
a customer tweeted: “They abolished the Chick ‘n’ Tater Melte at Jacks… I’m bloody devastated and heartbroken.”
“Jack got rid of the chick-and-doer meltdown and it feels like a part of me died,” added another.
Other tweeted“JackBox, I accepted you switching fries… but if I eliminate the Chick-n-Tater meltdown from the menu, I’m drawing the line.”
HELLO GOOD PURCHASE
Luckily for Jack In The Box customers, the restaurant has a long history of re-launching items that are no longer available.
Last month, the popular popcorn chicken made a triumphant return.
The chain introduced the special menu item in 2020 during the pandemic, and while it didn’t last long, it made a lasting impression on diners.
When it was removed from the menu, fans of the chicken took to Twitter to let Jack In The Box know how they felt.
“POPCORN CHICKEN IS BACK. Please stop texting me – with peace and love from the social media manager,” read the jack-in-the-box tweet.
“Bullying worked,” tweeted one fan of the popcorn chicken.
“Smh, you all wouldn’t disappoint,” Jack replied in the box.
The restaurant also announced the return of Sauced and Loaded Fries, including a spicy version that includes spicy ranch and jalapeños.
Diners still missing McDonald’s snack wraps were thrilled to hear Jack In The Box made it themselves.
