Pregnant lifestyle, beauty and “real talk” influencer Jackie Miller James was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma after suffering an aneurysm just days before she was due to give birth.
according to a GoFundMe The social media star, who is nine months pregnant, was organized by her sisters and just a week before her due date had a medical emergency that resulted in “serious brain hemorrhage and injuries.” She was found by husband Austin James before being rushed to the hospital where she underwent “an emergency caesarean section and brain surgery at the same time”.

The donation page was published three days ago and in it Jackie’s sisters said that not only is she still in a medically induced coma, but she has had five different brain surgeries in the 12 days since the incident. “Jackie is expected to remain in the ICU for weeks and will continue to remain in the hospital for months,” they shared, adding that “the little girl remained in the ICU at 12 days due to the traumatic events of her birth.”

Her sisters said the rest of Jackie’s family and husband are currently “caring for a newborn in intensive care while struggling to keep Jackie alive.”
“If Jackie and the baby had gotten to the hospital a few minutes later, we probably would have both lost. But instead, Jackie continues to fight for her life every day and we are optimistic that she can overcome the odds by surrounding her with the right specialists and therapy methods,” they concluded. “Though the road will be long, we are determined to bring Jackie home to her daughter and husband.”
The family hopes to raise $250,000 to help cover therapy and home improvements to allow her “long-term recovery and quality of life as a new mom.” So far, Kunal Nayyar appears to have donated $5,000 while Riley Keough has also donated $1,000.
Jackie and Austin tied the knot in April 2022 after meeting through a dating app. They announced they were pregnant earlier this year, and Jackie took to social media to share the ups and downs of pregnancy over the past few months.
