Premier League physio ‘to quit to pursue TV career’ after jetting to Australian jungle for I’m A Celebrity

A top Premier League physiotherapist has left his post to pursue a television career.
Bournemouth Paramedic Stuart Douglas has parted ways with the South Coast Club a year after he was flown to the Australian jungle to support his sister.
Ex-A Place in the Sun host Scarlette Douglas was a contestant on last year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
And Stuart, 45, wants to connect with her and forge a career on the small screen.
They previously co-hosted shows on Channel 4.
Now that he has more free time, Douglas wants to focus solely on finding TV opportunities with his siblings.
According to the Daily Mailhe will stay with the cherries until the end of the campaign.
Stuart and Scarlet worked together on Worst House.
The duo also fronted Flipping Fast on the side George Clarke.
The real estate competition format on Channel 4 is for developers hoping to start their own real estate business.
Stuart and Scarlette also appeared together on our TV screens in a special edition of Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer’s Love It Or List It.

Douglas started his career with City of Luton as a youth player and made 173 appearances in all competitions for the Hatters.
He retired from playing in 2011 after a stint at Poole Town outside the league.
