Sources tell Daily mail That staff member contacted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to ask the White House if they could fly back to the United States with Biden on his presidential jet.

However, reports of concern that it would strain the “relationships” between the US government and the Palace meant they were rejected.

A source said: “It will cause such a tremor.
