Prince Harry set to take Prince Archie on a special father-son-trip to a place where he feels close to Princess Diana

Prince Harry will reportedly take his son Archie on an unforgettable trip to Africa, where he hopes to make new father-son memories.

The Duke of Sussex previously said trips to the continent helped him come to terms with the loss of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, who tragically died in a car crash in 1997.

In addition, it is rumored that another film project is underway after the successful Netflix documentaries about Harry and Meghan.

Harry has admitted he feels most “peaceful” in the place he hopes to return to with his now four-year-old son Archie.

Sources close to the prince said, according to Women’s Day: “He has always wanted to show his children the continent that has been so special to him for so many years.”

“Here he feels close to his mother, he has followed in her footsteps and it is almost a family right that he has the joy of showing his son Africa.”

It was also noted that Prince Harry looked visibly emotional in 2022 when he last visited Rwanda.

Sources say the Duke of Sussex is eager to make up for lost time, particularly as he missed special moments with Archie on his fourth birthday, which coincided with the King’s coronation.

Prince Harry has hinted that his son is now old enough to cherish the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make new memories.

Prince Harry undoubtedly felt close to his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, who took her AIDS charity work with her to South Africa on many occasions.

Prince Harry said: “On my wall and in my heart every day there is a picture of my mother and Mandela meeting in Cape Town in 1997.”

In that quote, he referenced and revealed a photo of his late mother with Nelson Mandela during a keynote address at the United Nations.

Prince Harry described it: “Happiness on my mother’s face. The playfulness, even the cheekiness. It is a sheer joy to be in fellowship with another soul so dedicated to the service of humanity.”

He also admitted, “I’ve always found hope on the continent. In fact, it has been my lifeline for most of my life, a place where I have always found peace and healing.”

“It was here that I felt closest to my mother and sought comfort after her death, and I knew I had found a soul mate in my wife.”

It seems those fond memories will last as Prince Harry plans to share them with his first born son.

Young Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet starred in the Harry and Meghan Netflix documentaries when they aired last year.

But the new project Harry is embarking on could be a solo project, meaning he will be without his wife Meghan.

It is believed that the princess will stay at home with her youngest child, Princess Lilbet.
