“I think it was even in the autopsy report,” Prince said. “I think the cause is open to speculation, but it is either vitiligo or some form of lupus that contributed to vitiligo.”
“He was very insecure and kind of spotty in his appearance,” Prince continued. “So he wanted to see if he could smooth out his appearance to improve his security in terms of his physical appearance.”

Michael has previously spoken about his skin condition in an interview Interview with Oprah, after there was speculation that Jackson was trying to change his skin tone.
“I have a skin condition, the pigmentation of my skin. There’s nothing I can do about it,” Jackson said. “When people make up stories about me not wanting to be who I am, it hurts me. It’s a problem for me. I can’t control it. But what about all the millions of people who sit in the sun to become darker, to become other than what they are? Nobody says anything about it.”
“It runs in my family, I can’t control it. It makes me very sad,” he said. “I try to control it and using makeup evens it out because I have spots on my skin and I need to even them out. But you know what’s funny? Why is that so important? That is not important for me.”
